Tyron is the owner of The Maker’s Body CrossFit and is a Kinesiologist through the University of British Columbia (Canada) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Kinetics, a CrossFit Level 1 & 2 Coach, and a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the C.H.E.K. Institute in San Diego, CA.
As a real world fat loss expert his business focuses primarily on fat/weight loss, body toning and sculpting and helping their members get healthier and fitter than they’ve ever been before.
Tyron and the coaches are passionate about helping people get lean, healthy and looking their absolute best by integrating their training and nutrition system. In fact client of theirs, Michelle K., has transformed her body and life by her transformation of losing 40 pounds, going from a size 11 to a size 4, and losing 4 inches off her waist over a 6-month period.

From a very young age Brittany has been actively involved in sports.
At 3 she started gymnastics and continued until the age of 16.
During those years she was also involved in many other sports and activities like soccer, field hockey, swimming, and ballet acquiring knowledge in different aspects of fitness.
She has coached gymnastics for over 5 years at Flicka Gymnastics Club and continues coaching there as well as expanding herself as a trainer both through The Maker’s Body CrossFit. She has such a passion for fitness and cannot see herself doing anything else!

Having been an independently employed private athletic trainer and managing various ”Globo-gyms” in London, South Africa, and the Cayman Islands. He finally arrived back in North Vancouver (the place where he grew up) and continued to train people for the past 12 years.
I wasn’t until 2008 when he discovered CrossFit and instantly became addicted to the community, athleticism and mindset that defines the CrossFit way of life.

Hi, I am an ACE certified personal trainer and the owner and executive chef of The Maker’s Kitchen which is a catering company that caters to each individuals dietary needs.
I started with Tyron and The Maker’s Body as an overweight and very unhappy woman over 3 years ago.
The boot camp classes and nutritional help from Tyron have drastically changed my life and I’m so grateful to now be a part of the team.
I know what it’s like to be overweight and how hard it is to start a workout program and remain motivated towards your goal. Becoming fit, active, eating clean and living a healthy lifestyle has been a driving force towards becoming a certified trainer and combining my passion of fitness with my love of being a chef. If you need some motivation or if I can help you in any way I’m here to help.
Something you might not know about me is that I grew up riding and training horses as well as playing high level of soccer and ice hockey.

Hey there, I am Tara and welcome to our gym. I am so honoured to be a part of The Maker’s Body team. I walked into The Maker’s Body, as a client, the day before my 31st birthday as I decided I needed to get myself in better health. That first class was a challenge, but it was a game-changer for me & I LOVED it! A little while later I joined the team as Tyron’s assistant. I am so passionate about holistic health and wellness and I really value how The Maker’s Body strives to provide its clients just that, focusing on health from several aspects.
Having personal experience with injury and weight-loss struggles I appreciate the value of a great support system and lots of motivation. We strive to provide you with the same encouragement to meet your health and fitness goals.
